Chris Terrio, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter behind Argo, will punch up Batman vs. Superman before the film begins filming early next year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Ben Affleck, who worked with Terrio on Argo as well as starring in and directing the Best Picture winner, reportedly called him in to give the script a once-over before production is expected to begin in February 2014. Affleck, obviously, will play Batman in the film, which is expected to wrap production late next summer. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will return from Man of Steel, and Gal Gadot will be introduced as Wonder Woman. Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer, who is also producing Sandman and is reportedly attached to a number of other DC Entertainment properties, wrote the early drafts of the script and will still be credited.
