Batman Vs. Superman: New Superman Costume, Wonder Woman Costume Being Finalized

In Batman Vs. Superman, Ben Affleck will make his debut as Batman, and Gal Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman. While fans have seen Batman on the big screen before, there will apparently be an all new look for Ben Affleck's version of Batman. According to Kevin Smith, director Zack Snyder gave him a sneak peek at the new Batman costume. Smith raved about the costume, saying it was unlike anything seen in the movies before and comparing it to a Jim Lee design. As far as Wonder Woman, there had been some debate over if Gal Gadot would even don the Wonder Woman costume in Batman Vs. Superman or if she would just be introduced as Diana Prince. However, a recent interview by CineMovie.tv with Batman Vs. Superman costume designer Michael Wilkinson seems to confirm that Gal Gadot will wear the Wonder Woman costume. Not only will Batman have a new look and Wonder Woman make her big screen debut, but Wilkinson also revealed that Superman's costume was being tweaked as well. Could the tweaking of Superman's outfit mean the return of the red trunks? As far as status of the Batman Vs. Superman costume designs. Wilkinson said, "We are now in the stage where we're refining our designs with the last series of camera tests and doing our final tweaks in preparation for shooting." Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled to premiere in movie theaters on July 17, 2015.
