Boba Fett Star Wars Spin-Off Movie Supposedly A Fact

Here's an interesting tidbit of information, which is still technically a rumor, but we're buying it. During an AMC Movie Talk conversation about the Star Wars spin-off movies, director Jon Schnepp said, "I know they haven't announced it, but one of them is Boba Fett." When AMC Movie News Editor-In-Chief John Campea questioned Schnepp on if he thought that was official, Schnepp replied, "I know. I know for a fact." Schnepp added, "Sorry, I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan." Jon Schnepp is the director of Metalocalypse, so he definitely has more Hollywood contacts than the average person. Plus, it's long been rumored that Boba Fett will be one of the Star Wars spin-off films, and it just makes sense. Boba Fett is one of the most popular characters in the Star Wars universe and would be one of the easiest characters to spin-off into a solo movie. Because of Boba Fett's mask, Disney wouldn't be held to having to sign a specific actor like they would be with some of the other popular characters. The first Star Wars spin-off movie is scheduled to be released sometime in 2016, according to Disney's plan to release a Star Wars movie every year (alternating between episodes and spin-off films).
