Dane DeHaan, who will play Harry Osborn in Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, has been nominated for a Rising Star Award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Lea Seydoux, who starred in the controversial comics adaptation Blue is the Warmest Colour, also made the list. Rising Star Award nominees are actors and actresses who have "demonstrated exceptional talent" and are "destined to be bright stars in the future of cinema," the British Academy says. Previous honorees have included X-Men: Days of Future Past star James McAvoy, Eva Green, noted comic book fan and plagiarist Shia LaBeouf, Noel Clarke, Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart, Adam Deacon and The Dark Knight Rises stars Tom Hardy and Juno Temple. This year's full list of nominees is George MacKay, Lupita Nyong'o, Will Poulter, DeHaan and Seydoux. The winner of the Rising Star Award will be selected by a public vote and announced at the BAFTA film awards ceremony on February 16th. The full list of BAFTA nominees will be announced on Wednesday.
