Namco Bandai has begun releasing Dark Souls II: Into The Light for free through the Dark Souls Facebook page. The comic is meant to tie into the upcoming release of the video game, Dark Souls II, but is not an adaptation of that game. Rather, its a serpate story set in the Dark Sous universe. The story is written by Rob Williams (Cla$$war, Low Life) and Andi Ewington (45), and features art by Simon Coleby (2000 AD). The comic will be 20 pages long when it finishes, and the first 8 pages are available now on Namco Bandai's Facebook page, with new installments to follow every Wednesday the story finishes. Developed by from software, Dark Souls II is the highly anticipated sequel to the punishing 2011 breakout hit Dark Souls. The unique old-school action rpg experience captivated imaginations of gamers worldwide with incredible challenge and intense emotional reward. Dark Souls II brings the franchise's renowned difficulty & gripping gameplay innovations to both single and multiplayer experiences.
