Amazing Spider-Man 1 Peter Parker

Earlier this week an image of the cover the March-April 2014 issue of Marvel Previews made its way online, revealing that Amazing Spider-Man would relaunch. Now, it's official. According to a report on The New York Daily News, Marvel Comics has officially announced that Peter Parker will return in The Amazing Spider-Man #1, which is due out in comic book stores in April. The new Amazing spider-Man title will be written by Dan Slott with art by Humberto Ramos. Peter Parker is making his triumphant return as Spider-Man just thirteen months after his consciousness was killed off and Otto Octavius took over his body and the role of Spider-Man. While writer Dan Slott had insisted that Peter Parker was gone for good, it turns out he knew all along that Parker would be back. Slott is quoted as saying it was difficult to lie to small children at conventions about whether Parker would return or not. However, Slott apparently drew the line at lying to Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield, as he dropped some secretive hints to Garfield when visiting the set last year. Peter Parker's return as Spider-Man in the comic books is just in time for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie from Sony Pictures, which is set to be released on May 2, 2014. However, apparently Peter Parker's return won't be without a surprise or two. In regard to Peter Parker putting on the costume again after 30 issues away, Slott teased, "But there's a twist. There's always a twist."
