American Hustle

, the movie that stars quiet a few comic book movie stars in non-genre roles, has already netted awards for X-Men: Days of Future Past star Jennifer Lawrence and Man of Steel's Amy Adams at tonight's 2014 Golden Globes ceremony. Adams won for Best Performance By An Actress in a Comedy or Musical, while Lawrence won for Best Performance By An Actress In a Supporting Role in the same category. The acclaimed film is expected to clean up at the Globes tonight so there will likely be more American Hustle news to report, but with just over an hour into the awards show, the pair have already taken home trophies. The Dark Knight star Christian Bale is also nominated for American Hustle, with additional nominations going to Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Robert Redford for All is Lost, X-Men: Days of Future Past's Michael Fassbender for 12 Years a Slave in a category that sees him competing with Guardians of the Galaxy's Bradley Cooper, again for American Hustle, and Iron Man 3's Don Cheadle for Showtime's House of Lies.

That's just the comic book actors--and just the acting categories. Graphic novel adaptation Blue is the Warmest Colour is nominated for Best Foreign Language Film, The Big Bang Theory has a comedy nomination and more. Comic-Con favorites American Horror Story, Parks and Recreation and Breaking Bad also have several nominations each, with Bryan Cranston already having won for Best Actor for Breaking Bad and the show having won for Best Drama moments later. To take his trophy, Cranston (a rumored candidate to play Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman) beat out James Spader, who will play Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. ComicBook.com will update you periodically on the winners throughout the night, and then when we have a complete list.
