Daryl's Job

Remember last year when Comicbook.com first reported that there was Daryl-centered episode coming in the last half of Season 4. Andrew Lincoln later confirmed that Norman Reedus had  "a magnificent episode" coming up. Now, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reedus has offered up some more details. Reedus said, "There's a big Daryl episode coming up soon. It was such a grueling, hard shoot, but it came out really well. There's a couple other episodes based around other characters who do some of the best work you've seen them do. I can't wait for people to see these back eight." Reedus also confirmed something that was teased in one of the promotional trailers. One of the promos showed Beth Greene saying, "We aren't the only survivors. We can't be." We guessed that she was talking to Daryl, since that is who she was last seen with. "Daryl going into this first episode doesn't even know if everyone is alive," said Reedus. "Right now he thinks everyone is dead." Reedus also commented briefly on the whole deal with Rick making Carol leave. Reedus said, "You may or may not see a backlash. The way that we shot that and the way that we directed that, it was left very open-ended. I like the way we didn't wrap up that storyline with a nice bow yet." The Walking Dead Season 4 Mid-Season Premiere will air on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
