Veteran newsman Larry King just announced that screen legend Sid Casear has died. "Sorry to learn about the passing of Sid Caesar-a dear friend, a comic genius & an American classic," King wrote. "There will never be another one like him." Caesar was a legend on both TV and in the movies, appearing in dozens of films and shows over the years, including GreaseIt's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad WorldYour Show of ShowsCaesar's Hour and much, much more. According to his IMDb page, his final screen credit was 2004's Comic Book: The Movie. One of the earliest innovators on television, Caesar is widely considered one of the best comedians of the 20th Century and helped to shape television comedy as we know it. Nominated nine times for the Emmy Award, he won twice, as well as Lifetime Achievement Awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Television Critics Association.
