Guardians of the Galaxy

Talking to Kevin Pereira on the Pointless podcast, James Gunn revealed that Marvel Studios does not own the Badoon. Pereira asked Gunn about whether or not we can expect to see Skrulls in Guardians of the Galaxy. Gunn said no, that Marvel Studios only partially owns the Skrulls and further said Marvel Studios also does not own the Badoon, saying that is the reason the Sakaar are in the film. The host tried to get Gunn to give up what Infinity Gem/Stone (if any) will be in the film, but Gunn wouldn't bite. Gunn did seem to give a curious pause when Pereira brought up Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock… Responding to fans who want to know why Rocket Raccoon doesn't speak in the trailer, Gunn points out that nobody besides Star-Lord and Korath speak in the trailer at all, but he also said fans can expect to hear Rocket speak very soon. Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters August 1.
