The Last Of Us Movie To Be Distributed By Screen Gems

Screen Gems has announced that it will be distributing the film adaptation of The Last of Us. The Last of Us is an adaptation of Naughty Dog's video game of the same name. The script is being penned by Neil Druckmann, the game's Creative Director. Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures is producing. Clint Culpepper, Screen Gems' President, stated, "Screen Gems' Brian Dukes and Eric Ling brought this game to my attention insisting we go after it. When I saw the quality of the storytelling, I knew the audience for this project was far greater than just the gaming community and that Neil Druckmann must write the screenplay. And Sam and his team at Ghost House round out the perfect team to help realize Neil's vision."
