Arrow's Marc Guggenheim on Suicide Squad: "It's Our 'Avengers'"

In the latest "Producer's Preview" for next week's episode of The CW's Arrow, titled "Suicide Squad," Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim gushed about the episode, saying that bringing the Squad together is "our Avengers." Bringing together villains from all throughout the show's first two seasons, Guggenheim said that the high point of the episode is seeing the way John Diggle interacts with them, and how he reacts to working with all of them...including Deadshot, the man who killed his brother. "The title says it all: The Suicide Squad. It's our Avengers," Guggenheim said. "We've been slowly laying the seeds for this particular episode all throughout the season. All of these characters that we've been slowly seeding in, starting from episode three of last season, all of those seeds come together and give birth to the Suicide Squad."
