TMNT - Turtles In Time

IDW Publishing has announced a new comic book miniseries to celebrate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' 30th Anniversary. Turtles in Time sees the turtles battling against time itself to save the day. The Turtles will encounter dinosaurs, pirates and samurais, and travel to the far reaches of space and time, all to stop a bleak future from coming to fruition. The series will be written by TMNT writers Paul Allor (Utrom Empire) and Erik Burnham (Secret History of the Foot Clan). Each issue will feature a cover from the creator of Mouse Guard, David Petersen, with interior art from a rotating lineup of artists. The first issues features the art of Ross Campbell. "I love time travel stories, and I love seeing the Turtles outside of their comfort zone," says co-writer Burnham. "So basically, this is the most fun I've had in the TMNT sandbox yet!" "I am so excited for this story!" added co-writer Allor. "I'm blown away by the artists we have lined up, and I truly think readers are going to love this wild, rip-roaring journey through time." Turtles in Time will continue IDW's series of stellar TMNT mini-series when the first issue ships in June.
