Queen & Country Film Finds A Director

Craig Viveiros will direct the film adaptation of Greg Rucka's spy-thriller comic book, Queen & Country, according to Variety. The film will star Ellen Page as Tara Chance, a British agent who goes on the run while trying to stop a terrorist plot from hatching in England. Viveiros is the director of Ghosted and The Liability. The script is being written by John Rogers. Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are producing. "I'm thrilled to be working with Fox and Ellen in the task of bringing Tara Chace and 'Queen & Country' to life on the big screen," Viveiros said. "The echoes of excitement in creating an exciting, unique bold addition the spy genre are held firm by Greg's solid, riveting source material." No release date for Queen & Country has been announced so far. Ellen Page can be seen next as Kitty Pryde in X-Men: Days of Future Past, opening May 23.
