Amazing Spider-Man 2 Video Game Gameplay Demonstration

Beenox has released a developer walkthrough video that shows "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" video game in action. The video starts by demonstrating the newly redesigned, more realistic web-slinging mechanics. Each hand is mapped to a different shoulder trigger and players need to actually find buildings to swing from instead of just throwing webs into the air. There's also a smartphone used as a menu system and the ability to walk around as Peter Parker outside of his Spider-Man costume. We don't really see Peter doing much besides walking around his house, until he we get to one of the games' coolest features: the wardrobe. Peter will have access to a wide variety of Spider-Man costumes. Just in this video alone we see Ricochet, Spider-Man 2099 and more. They're not just cosmetic either, each costume comes with its own set of perks. Spider-Man fans are sure to enjoy finding their favorites. The video then shows Spider-Man in action during a stealth mission, webbing up enemies as he goes, and then getting into a brawl with some goons. It ends on a cliffhanger, as Spider-Man comes face-to-face with the Kingpin. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" video game launches April 29th.
