Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer preview

On this morning's Today Show, NBC revealed an exclusive first look at the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The trailer preview starts off with some intense action sequences, but it ends on a light note. After the trailer, Will Arnett stopped by the Today show studio with a box of pizza. "I play Vernon Fenwick. I play a guy who gets, you know, wrapped into this whole crazy world with these vigilante turtles," said Arnett. "Vern Fewick is a camera man. He's a guy who has seen it all, and he wants just an easy life. And he comes back to New York to be a camera man in New York. And then all of a sudden everything explodes, and he finds himself back in a hot spot again. And he's faced with having to help save New York." Synopsis: The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to be released in movie theaters on August 8, 2014.
