The Walking Dead Finale Spoiler: Dead Character Returns

Here's an interesting tidbit of information dropped during a pre-finale official Walking Dead Twitter Q&A. A fan asked, "Is there a Hershel flashback in the works?" Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman responded, "RT MAYBE TONIGHT!" While Kirkman could have been teasing, it's interesting because there has been an opening spoiler floating around, which came from an Australian TV newspaper called Border Mail. Here's the opening description.

This episode begins by taking us back to happier times. The whole gang is together, going about their business in the positively idyllic grounds of the prison, and poor old Hershel (Scott Wilson) is trying to get Rick (Andrew Lincoln) to focus on farming. Then we flash forward to see Rick, his face and beard soaked in blood, alone and trembling.

Could this opening description be correct? Some of the foreign promos have shown a trembling Rick with his beard soaked in blood. We'll find out soon enough, as The Walking Dead Season 4 Premiere starts at 9 PM ET on AMC.
