The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale who dies

Who dies in tonight's Season 4 Finale for The Walking Dead? Maybe, a good guess is everyone. There are some pretty compelling reasons that could support any number of characters dying tonight. Back in December 2013, we made a series of predictions for spoilers for the remainder of Season 4 of The Walking Dead. As we stated, the spoilers were based on "what we've heard from sources with a dash of speculation mixed in to fill in the gaps." At that point in time, we had not seen any of the episodes of the second half of The Walking Dead Season 4. Of the five spoilers we listed, four of them have already come true. We predicted Rick's group would remain divided, Carl would be the center of an episode, Daryl Dixon would be featured more, and Carol would return and meet up with Tyreese. All four of those things have come to pass on The Walking Dead. Our fifth prediction was "one of the main cast members who has not been killed in the comic book series will die during Season 4." Some have taken this to mean one of the main cast members who is still alive in the comic book series will die during Season 4. However, there are a couple of cast members that have not been killed in the comic book series, because they don't exist in the comic book series. Technically, Lizzie and Mika don't exist in the comic book series, and they have both died. However, we would hardly classify them as main cast members. But we would classify both Beth Greene and Daryl Dixon, who don't exist in the comic book series, as main cast members. So let's take a look at who might die during The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale. We've included the ones that are still alive in the comic or have never been in the comics, as well as the ones that are dead in the comic in the list below. Just because we believe someone who hasn't been killed in the comics will die doesn't mean that there might not be other deaths as well. We've noted which ones are alive, dead or don't exist in the comic, so stop reading now if you wish to avoid comic book spoilers. Rick Grimes (alive in comic) – If Robert Kirkman wanted to prove that truly no one was safe on the show, then Rick is the character that he would kill. In the comic book series, the current storyline seems to be heading in a direction where Rick may get killed off. If Kirkman wanted to create synergy between the comic book and the show, then it makes sense that he might kill Rick in both the comic book and the TV series at the same time. Also, Andrew Lincoln has been giving interviews all week about how The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale completes a storyline for Rick. Carl Grimes (alive in comic) – In the comic book series, Rick Grimes only has one surviving child. Since baby Judith is still alive on the TV series, does that mean Carl might be destined to die? It would be an interesting twist for Rick to realize his daughter is still alive at the same time that he loses his son. Of course, most people suspect that baby Judith is really Shane's baby, so maybe Carl already is Rick's only surviving child. An interesting twist is that Chandler Riggs asked to be on the Talking Dead, but AMC told him "No." If Carl was going to die, one would think AMC would want him on the Talking Dead. Or maybe he really is going to be on Talking Dead and the whole AMC said "No" thing was a trick. Michonne (alive in comic) – Of all the characters on the Season 4 Finale, most might assume that Michonne would be one of the safest. However, Danai Gurira has been teasing that none of the Season 4 Finale predictions are right, which could hint at a true shocker. Plus, Gurira is the only cast member booked to appear on a major talk show in the week following the finale. Beth Greene (doesn't exist in comic) – If Internet speculation is to be believed, then Beth appears to be the popular choice to die during the finale. The last time Beth was seen on the show, she was being abducted. Everyone seems to believe that she was taken by the fine folks at Terminus, who everyone suspects are cannibals. Some type of scenario where the other survivors enjoy a meal at Terminus before finding out their meal is Beth seems to be one of the most likely scenarios of how things turn out. Daryl Dixon (doesn't exist in comic) – After Rick or maybe even ahead of Rick, Daryl would certainly be the most shocking death that could happen during The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale. Kirkman has repeatedly threatened to kill off Daryl just to teach a lesson to the Reedus' fans who threaten to riot if Daryl dies. Kirkman has also teased a cliffhanger, and there could be no more enticing cliffhanger than Daryl's fate to be up in the air at the end of the episode. Glenn Rhee (dead in comic) – Couples don't tend to last long on The Walking Dead. In the comic book series, Glenn is already dead. Given that a major moment of the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead Season 4 was the reunion of Glenn and Maggie, then it would make sense that the Season 4 Finale would bring a violent conclusion to that reunion. Maggie Greene (alive in comic) – Of course, killing off Glenn might be too predictable. Another way to spoil the couple's happiness and also differentiate the show from the comic book would be to kill off Maggie. While all the cast members tend to work on other projects during the non-filming season of The Walking Dead, Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, seems to have been more active than most. There's also that picture of herself that Maggie burned in the last episode. Talk about foreshadowing. Carol Peletier (dead in comic) – It's been Melissa McBride's best season on the show so far. She's been nothing short of brilliant in multiple episodes this season. However, Carol has also killed multiple people, which can't make it easy for her to re-adapt to the group. Often, cast members get their moment to shine before getting killed off. Tyreese (dead in comic) – Just like with McBride, Chad Coleman has really emerged during Season 4 with his finest performances yet. Could Tyreese's arm injury be a way of foreshadowing that his time on the show is coming to an end? Baby Judith (dead in comic) – Wouldn't it be a terrible thing for Tyreese to have saved Judith from The Governor's attack only to have her die as she reunites with Rick and Carl? Of course, The Walking Dead doesn't shy away from doing terrible things. Sasha (doesn't exist in comic) – As one of the few survivors who was initially reluctant to go to Terminus, wouldn't it just be a fitting fate if Terminus proved to be deadly for her? Bob Stookey (alive in comic) – Stookey has been one of the most mysterious characters on The Walking Dead. Many viewers have been suspicious of his true intentions. Could there be a dark secret about Stookey that proves deadly? Abraham, Eugene, & Rosita (Abraham is dead in comic, Eugene and Rosita are alive) – All three of these characters are so new on the show, any of their deaths would be surprising. It would seem odd to introduce them only to kill one or more of them off so soon. Of course, one big point of The Walking Dead is that death can sometimes be random. Many throught Axel would have lasted longer on the show than he did. So will we be right about someone dying in the Season 4 Finale who hasn't been killed in the comics? We do have reason to believe a certain character is going to die. However, Kirkman's recent teases of a cliffhanger ending has even us wondering. It's entirely possible that the episode could end with questions still remaining about the final fate of one or more characters. Maybe, the character we think dies is actually somewhat in limbo at the end of the Season 4 Finale. It certainly has already been a rough season for sisters and the Greene family on The Walking Dead. Maybe, there's already been enough death this season on The Walking Dead. And maybe not...
