Ahead of the U.S. release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier on Friday, Cinema Sins have released a new video, titled "Everything Wrong With Captain America," focusing on Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger. The lowest-grossing Marvel Studios movie since the launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the movie is nevertheless a critical favorite and those who love it, tend to think it's one of the best superhero movies of the last decade. It operates somewhat outside of the constraints of Marvel's "house style," almost emulating Johnston's previous success on The Rocketeer. The result is a film that was perhaps not as widely satisfying to commercial audiences, but which generated a ton of enthusiasm among its fans. That didn't stop Cinema Sins from some gentle mockery, though, which you can see below. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is out Friday in U.S. theaters.

With the new Captain America adventure headed to theaters in America soon (earlier than that for international markets), it seemed only smart to turn the sin cannon on the franchise's first film. That... and the fact that you've been pestering us to do this film for ages.
