The new issue of Bloomberg Businessweek, being released tomorrow, has an extensive cover feature on Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

In the article, Feige reveals that Marvel Studios has films planed out into the next decade, all the way into 2028. In fact, Feige has a map of the films on the wall of his office.

“They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028,” Feige says in the article. “It’s like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, ‘What’s happening back there?’ But it’s real.”

The article doesn't reveal what films are on Feige's map, but it does mention that Feige doesn’t expect to ever recover the rights to Spider-Man or the X-Men (currently held by Sony and Fox, respectively). Feige isn't concerned though, since Marvel still has a universe with thousands of characters under its control, leading to infinite, interweaving story possibilities, and that meeting a character like Black Widow in The Avengers may entice fans to come back for a solo movie featuring the character.

The new issue of Bloomberg Businessweek featuring the Kevin Feige feature, “Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Superhero at Running Movie Franchises,” hits stands April 4, which just happens to also be the release date for Marvel Studio’s latest film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
