Futures End

Just as the New 52's launch titles, the Zero Month and Villains Month titles had omnibus hardcover editions from DC Comics shortly after they were published, a new Amazon listing suggests this September's Five Years Later event will get the same treatment. Retailing at over $100 (and currently listed at $114.10 on Amazon), the book collects over 1,400 pages of content to be published in September under the "Five Years Later" banner, tying into the upcoming, time travel-infused The New 52: Futures End weekly comic. The item description doesn't give away much information about the upcoming storyline, possibly because (as they have in the past) the listing was spotted by Bleeding Cool before any of the comics were actually solicited.

Superman Futures End

Here's the official description:

In September 2014, as every title in the DC Universe published special new issues featuring their favorite heroes and villains in iterations they've never seen before: future versions of themselves! Every DC Comics comic book series will feature a special issue, revealing the shocking fates of top super heroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern and many more. Written and illustrated by top talent including Geoff Johns (GREEN LANTERN, THE FLASH, JUSTICE LEAGUE), Brian Azzarello (100 BULLETS, JOKER), Scott Snyder (DETECTIVE COMICS, AMERICAN VAMPIRE), Jeff Lemire (JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED) and many more! Just in time for the new year, these entry-point issues are collected in a single, massive hardcover edition that will be a great holiday gift for comics fans everywhere.

Amazon lists the release date as December 23, but it's common practice for DC to release collected editions to the bookstore market (of which Amazon is a part) a week or two after direct market comic book stores get them.
