A film adaptation of the cult TV hit Farscape is, indeed, in the works, according to Revolution producer Rockne S. O'Bannon, a veteran of Farscape. "We are, in fact, in the script stage of a Farscape feature," O'Bannon told an audience at WonderCon last night in Anaheim, adding that it is "still in early, early stages." "He was like a dog with a bone," O'Bannon said of longtime collaborator Brian Henson. "He would not give up on it." Farscape ran from 1999 to 2003 on Syfy. In 2004, Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars was released to clean up loose ends, but fans have continued to hope for more. An earlier report said that any new Farscape film would take place after The Peacekeeper Wars, the miniseries that followed the original series' cancellation, and would focus on the son of John Crichton and Aeryn Sun.
