Captain America The Winter Soldier Review

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Captain America: The Winter Soldier has earned $224.9 million at the domestic box office, which makes it the top-grossing April release of all time in North America. The previous record holder was Fast Five, which brought in $209 million overall at the box office after it opened in April 2011. The two were very close even before The Winter Soldier's latest weekend haul, which was just north of $16 million. Globally, Captain America: The Winter Soldier has generated $645.2 million. The movie broke the all-time record for an opening weekend in April back when it bowed, and won the box office for three weeks in a row before finally coming in #2 this week behind Cameron Diaz's comedy The Other Woman. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 continues to perform overseas ahead of its domestic release on Friday, bringing in $67.2 million this weekend in 42 territories. So far the film has made $132 million.
