Dan Slott Talks Amazing Spider-Man #1 On CBS New York

As part of the big media push for The Amazing Spider-Man #1, which brings back Peter Parker just in time for Amazing Spider-Man 2 to hit theaters, Dan Slot went on CBS New York to talk about the issue. On the show, slot revealed the new twist in Peter Parker's resurrection. "What we're showing people today is that spider didn't die when it bit Peter," says Slott. "It lived for a few seconds more and bit one other person." That other person has taken on the persona of Silk, which speaks to her power set as well, and Slott hinted that she may want to take Spider-Man's place. As announced at C2E2, this story will be told as part of the Original Sin crossover event in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 is available today.
