CNN recently did a short piece on Stan Lee, the legendary co-creator of the Marvel Universe who has seen many of creations hit the big screen over the past 15 years. During the segment, Lee talked about his enduring legacy, something he didn’t seem entirely comfortable thinking aout.
“I figure once you’re no longer here it doesn’t do you any good whether you’re remembered or not,” says Lee. “But, I don’t know, I guess I’d like to be remembered as a guy who co-created a lot of these characters.”
Lee is 91-years-old and is still hard at work creating new characters through POW! Entertainment. The company is focused on creating characters with appeal for the international market, and has already done so in places like India.
