Bat-family staple Kyle Higgins, Alec Siegel and Rod Reis' all-new ongoing series C.O.W.L. has sold out its first issue at the distributor level. Image Comics announced this weekend that the issue will head to a second printing to meet customer demand, which will come out on June 25 along with the series' second issue. Set in 1960s Chicago in the world of Higgins and Siegel's movie The League, C.O.W.L. begins the story of a labor union of superheroes who must work together to regain the confidence of the public and ferret out threats inside and outside their offices. C.O.W.L. #1 has completely sold out at the distributor level, but may still be available in comic stores. It is currently available digitally on the Image Comics website and the official Image Comics iOS app, as well as on Comixology.
