Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Star Clark Gregg Would Like to Direct Adam Warlock

During a Reddit AMA earlier this week, Trust Me director and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg revealed that it would be a dream come true to direct a Marvel Studios movie -- and that he has two very different ideas for which one he would do if given the chance.

"I'm torn," Gregg admitted when a fan asked him which he'd pick. "I love the stories of the S.H.I.E.L.D agents that don't have superpowers, and I've always thought the backstory of Budapest as mentioned in The Avengers would make a great film. That said, I sure do love Adam Warlock."

Warlock, of course, is a character who's expected to pop up in Guardians of the Galaxy or Avengers: Age of Ultron. Many fans assume that a coccoon seen at the end of Thor: The Dark World may have been his.

Meanwhile, Black Widow (who is at the center of the Budapest story in question) has been rumored recently as a candidate for her own movie, although studio executives seem to have dismissed the idea.
