Star Wars Episode VII Rumored To Include Mandalorians And Sith Witches

A new report from the Latino Review suggests that Star Wars Episode VII will count Mandalorian mercenaries and Sith witches among the film's villains.

The report notes that rumors of a mercenary group causing trouble for the Jedi have been circulating for months. The report says that a source revealed these mercenaries to be Mandalorians. For those who don't know, Jango and Boba Fett are both Mandalorians, as is Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels.

The nature of the Sith witches rumored to be in the film is still uncertain. They may or may not be inspired by the Nightsisters of Dathomir (home world of Darth Maul), but they will likely be powerful wielders of the Dark Side of the Force.

None of this is confirmed at the moment, but bringing back Mandalorians certainly seems like it would be a crowd-pleasing move.

Star Wars Episode VII is currently filming and comes to theaters December 18, 2015.
