Guardians Of Galaxy Video: Zoe Saldana Explains Gamora

In a new video released by EW, Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana takes a minute to describe her character, Gamora.

"She's the kind of character, in the first act of the movie, you kind of have reservations about because she's not really allowing her cards to be read that freely," says Saldana. "Gamora can kill you, but has a heart to gold, and I like that about her."

In Guardians of the Galaxy, in the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters August 1.
