Doctor Who Series 8 Full Length TV Launch Trailer Features A T-Rex

After releasing a couple of short teasers over the last couple of months, The BBC has just released the first full length TV launch trailer for Doctor Who Season 8.

Doctor Who Season 8 stars Peter Capaldi in the role of the Twelfth Doctor, replacing Matt Smith. He will also be joined by companion Clara Oswald, played by Jenna Coleman. The season will also introduce a new male companion named Danny Pink, played by Samuel Anderson. Steven Moffat returns for his fourth series as Doctor Who's showrunner.

The trailer features lots of great sci-fi action scenes, but there is one scene in particular that will likely stand out to most viewers. Yes, it looks like a Tyrannosaurus Rex will terrorize London.

Doctor Who Season 8 premieres on Saturday, August 23, 2014 on the BBC.
