Big Hero 6 Action Figures And Merchandise Revealed

Disney Consumer Products has provided us with a first look at their Big Hero 6 toy line, being unveiled at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

Big Hero 6 is the upcoming Disney animated film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team and comics of the same name. In the film, brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter) finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion, a robot named Baymax (Scott Adsit), Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.

Big Hero 6 is directed by Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) and Chris Williams (Bolt), and produced by Ron Conli (Tangled), and promises the feature lots of heart, humor, and comic book action.

Disney's toy line features all six members of the team – Hiro, Baymax, Fred, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon – as well as the villainous Yokai. The line sees the characters translated into a variety of action figures, plush toys, and role-play toys, highlighted by a 10" Baymax figure that will sure catch collectors' eyes.
