Everything Wrong With Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer

Following their look at the 2005 Fantastic Four movie, CinemaSins is back with a look at the 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

The video is chock full of the normal banality and snark that is the series trademark, but it also interestingly chooses to keep comparing the movie to films like Green Lantern and The Dark Knight Rises, implying that it somehow ripped those films off even though they weren't released until years later. I know Rise of the Silver Surfer is bad, but it's not bad enough to somehow ape future movies retroactively.

Anyway, the final tally finds the film guilty of 141 sins, and sentences it to a neverending bachelor party without lap dances.

A reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise is expected to arrive in June 2015.
