The Simpsons Marathon on FXX Will Be Longest TV Marathon Ever

Ahead of the release of their Simpsons World app, FXX will air a marathon of The Simpsons, screening every episode of the series ever beginning on August 21.

The marathon will run 24 hours a day until September 1, making it the longest TV marathon of all time.

That's 552 consecutive episodes of The Simpsons. If you deleted everything off your DVR and just recorded nothing but FXX, you probably wouldn't even make it into the 2000s before you ran out of space and had to start removing content.

A new portal called Simpsons World will launch in October that will allow anyone to browse episodes and share clips -- and to watch all of the episodes, provided your cable provider is one of the ones who has a deal in place with FX Networks.
