Stan Lee was scheduled to make a number of different appearance at 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International, but he has abruptly cancelled all of his appearances according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stan Lee has canceled comic convention appearances in the past for health reasons, such as having surgery to get a pacemaker. However, this cancellation is reportedly unrelated to his heart, but is due to his throat.

"Unfortunately Stan Lee has lost his voice due to laryngitis and is unable to attend this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and has regrettably had to cancel his appearances," said his spokesperson confirming the news. "Stan is otherwise well and in good health, though he is disappointed to miss the event and wishes everyone a great time."

At 92 years old, Stan Lee regularly and actively attends comic book conventions around the world, conducting lengthy panel discussions.
