Sam Wilson Debuts As Captain America In New Marvel Infinite Comic

Prior to the launch of All-New Captain America in November, Sam Wilson take up Captain America's shield in All-New Captain America: Fear Him, a new 6-issue Marvel Infinite Comics series from writer Dennis Hopeless (Avengers Arena, X-Men: Season One). And Szymon Kudranski (Spawn).

"We'll mostly be dealing with the psychological implications of picking up the shield," says writer Dennis Hopeless in an interview with Marvel.com. "Sam has to figure out what kind of Captain America he wants to be and what parts of his own personality he can bring to the role."

All-New Captain America: Fear Him is set in continuity, and continues the Sam Wilson's transformation from the Falcon into Captain America – which begins in Captain America #25 – but is meant to serve a jumping on point for new readers as well.

All-New Captain America: Fear Him will be released in October.
