SDCC Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: NIck Blood Cast As Lance Hunter, More Deatails On Season Two

At the Marvel Studios television panel held today at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International, Marvel Studios announced that British actor Nick Blood will play Lance Hunter in Season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Lance Hunter is the director of the organization called S.T.R.I.K.E. a kind of British equivalent to S.H.I.E.L.D., which leads one to wonder if Agent Coulson's new S.H.I.E.L.D. might not be welcomed by the greater intelligence community at large.

The showrunners also revealed that recent cast addition Lucy Lawless will be playing Isabel Hartley, a veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Coulson and his team will also be on the run from Daniel Whitehall, the Hydra agent known as the Kraken from Marvel's Secret Warriors comic book series.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 will premiere September 22 on ABC.
