Stephen Amell has posted the second half of his Arrow fiftieth episode Q&A on YouTube. You can check it out below.

Among the revelations in the video are the when he was younger, he used to be scared of a scene in a Superman movie and that John Barrowman kicked him (fairly hard) the first time they worked together during Season One.

"Oliver smiles a lot this year," Amell says. "Oliver is just a lot closer to me as a human this year, and that's refreshing. Playing Oliver in the early stages of the series when he was so serious and so moribund was challenging because it's so difficult to make that not feel stiff and stilted....It's much more fun now that he's an easygoing guy."

He was also asked to provide two lies and a truth about Season Three, and told the fans:

  • We're going to do a boxing glove arrow.
  • Not everybody makes it.
  • Roy has the only new superhero suit.

Well, since we know that there will be tweaks made to the Arrow suit itself, which seemingly puts lie to #3. We also have boxer Ted Grant showing up during the season, which many fans have speculated lends itself to a boxing glove arrow if we're ever going to get that one...

...but of course, not everyone has made it out of Season One or Season Two, so it's hard to believe that the stakes continue to rise and consequences get less.

Check it out below for more, including whether he thinks Oliver will ever teach Felicity Smoak to fight.

Part 2... In which I inexplicably say it's October 16th and not August 16th. This is what happens when I'm made to work on a Saturday. Enjoy!

Arrow returns on October 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
