Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt has become the latest celebrity to accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, an online trend aimed at raising awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, colloquially known as Lou Gherig's Disease.

With nearly 20,000 likes in the hour since it was released, it's probably safe to assume that the additional celebrity Pratt has gained from Guardians's wild success has helped foster some of that awareness.

You can see the video below.

Pratt, who will star in next year's Jurassic World, reportedly stole some of the wardrobe from the set of Guardians so that he could wear it to planned appearances to visit children in the hospital as Star-Lord.

After someone completes the challenge, they present it to others to keep the chain going. Pratt challenged his Everwood co-star Gregory Smith, his Parks and Recreation co-star Nick Offerman and his Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Dave Bautista.

Yesterday, Arrow star Stephen Amell also took the challenge, posting his video to YouTube.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has led to a significant rise in donation to ALS charities.
