BadAss Digest is reporting that Captain America will assemble a new group of Avengers at the conclusion of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

If true, this keeps in spirit with early Avengers comic books, which saw the Avengers disbanded and reformed by Captain America in issue #16. The second team consisted of some of the same characters being formally introduced to the cinematic universe in Age of Ultron, including Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

The report goes on to say that this new team will only be seen at the very closing of the film. They will not be involved in the plot or any of the action sequences of Age of Ultron. It's basically a team cameo.

Possible SPOILERS follow.

The report also states the membership of that team has been decided on, but has changed between drafts of the film's script, so nothing is final until the scene is shot.

While filming on Avengers: Age of Ultron is complete, the report suggests that this scene will be shot secretly during filming of Captain America 3, or at some other, unannounced point in time.

While Digest claims to have seen the script and the roster for the new team, they only revealed one new name on the list.

The report reveals that Captain Marvel, reportedly referred to as Ms. Marvel, was a part of the latest script, but that her inclusion may be removed. The report states that Captain/Ms. Marvel is definitely planned for inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios is just a little unsure about how they want to introduce her.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters May 1, 2015.
