Marvel Entertainment has officially announced their next prose novel, Avengers: Everybody Want to Rule the World. The novel will be written by form Guardians of the Galaxy comic book writer Dan Abnett, who more recently wrote Marvel's first original prose novel, Rocket Raccoon and Groot: Steal the Galaxy. The new novel is scheduled for release in April of 2015, just before Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters.

The novel will see the Avengers taking on several of their most capable enemies at the same time. Captain America battles Hydra in Berlin. Black Widow and Hawkeye attempt to foil an A.I.M. plot in the Savage Land. Iron Man battles takes on Ultron's robotic army in Washington D.C. Bruce Banner and Nick Fury go up against High Evolutionary in Managpore. All of these attacks once can't be a coincidence, and the Avengers will have to discover who is behind them all.

"Marvel Prose Novels offer a whole new way to experience the Marvel Universe," says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. "Who better to bring the Avengers to life for an original prose novel than Dan Abnett? This one is crammed cover to cover with the action Marvel fans love."

Brought together to take on the foes no single hero could face alone, Abnett will invert that theory, scattering the Avengers to take on a multitude of threats, when Avengers: Everybody Wants to Rule the World goes on sale in April.
