Summer rerun season is over, and it’s time for a new Fall season of our favorite TV shows. Here are the Top Ten TV shows that Comicbook.com is looking forward to this new Fall season. No offense to comedy and reality, but since this is a Comicbook.com list, it is sci-fi, action, and superhero heavy. The list includes both our returning favorites and some brand new shows. Many unfortunately don’t start until mid-season so we’ve still got some time to wait.

Fringe Finale Features Leonard Nimoy

On the Fringe Finale entitled “There’s More Than One Of Everything,” there will be a very timely guest star.  With the Star Trek movie having just opened this past weekend, Leonard Nimoy, who of course everyone knows played Mr. Spock in the original Star Trek, will be appearing as William Bell.

Fringe Renewed For A Second Season

Fringe really has become one of the best shows on television, and FOX has rewarded the show with a second season.  According to FOX, Fringe is the number one new series among adults ages eighteen to forty-nine.  Fringe has been winning its Tuesday time period among key demographics (of course, having American Idol as a lead-in probably doesn’t hurt).

According to the preview clip for the “Midnight” episode of Fringe, the biggest secret of the season will be revealed.  Preview scenes hinted that the secret involves Walter Bishop, because another scientist is shown telling Walter, “I know very well who you are.”  In classic Walter style, his reply is “That makes one of us.”

In the “Bad Dreams” episode of Fringe, a woman is singing and pushing her child in a stroller in the subway.  As she waits for a subway train, a balloon comes lose from the stroller.  The woman reaches for the balloon, and someone comes up behind her and shoves her in front of the subway train.  The person who shoved her is revealed to be Agent Olivia Dunham.
