While there is another official Star Wars update video set to be released today, there are also plenty of unofficial parody videos being released. A couple weeks ago Comicbook.com compiled a list of our five favorite Star Wars parody videos to arise out of the Disney and Lucasfilm deal. If the Star Wars 7 sneak peek from Barely Political had been released earlier, it would also have been on the list. The Star Wars 7 sneak peek parody video takes
The teasers that have been made available so far for the midseason premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead (“Suicide King,” airing February 10) haven’t been particularly information-rich, but we’ve got a few ideas of what to expect from watching it. And we’re sharing them with you, because that’s how we roll. It should go without saying that there are both actual and potential spoilers for the next episode of The Walking Dead, as well as last night’s episode for those
In one of the most shocking moments from The Walking Dead midseason 3 finale, Rick Grimes hallucinated where he thought he saw Shane Walsh back from the dead. However, in the hallucination, Shane was sporting a beard for some reason. During the Talking Dead, a caller asked Robert Kirkman why Shane had the Wolverine look going. Kirkman said, “I like to dodge things, but I’ll actually answer, and I’m going to answer honestly, despite my feelings to otherwise. Jon Bernthal
While the Justice League movie has yet to be formally announced by Warner Bros., there is already a report out claiming that the villain is Darkseid. According to the Latino Review, their sources have told them that God of Evil and the ruler of Apokolips will face off against the members of the Justice League. There have been rumors circulating for a while now that Darkseid would be the Justice League movie villain, but most of the rumors seemed to
There have been rumors for a while, but IDW and 2000 AD officially announced Judge Dredd Year One this morning, a miniseries beginning in March by Matt Smith and Simon Coleby with Greg Staples on covers. Variant covers will be provided by Dave Sim and Carlos Ezquerra. “Dredd’s a notoriously difficult character to get the voice right—and it becomes even more of a challenge when you’re writing him as an eighteen year old, fresh out of the Academy,” said Matt
After the “Made to Suffer” episode of The Walking Dead, fans are going to have a long wait to find out what happens to Daryl and Merle. The Walking Dead will not be returning until February. To be exact, The Walking Dead will return on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 9 PM ET with a new episode called The Suicide King. When The Walking Dead returns, there are also going to be some changes in regards to the shows that
The first official theatrical poster has been revealed for the forthcoming Paramount Star Trek sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. The image, which sees a character emerge from destruction, seems to mirror the plot summary which quietly made its way online last week: In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within
In the “Stan The Man” episode of Comic Book Men, a seller brings in a copy of the first issue of The Walking Dead, which has sold for as high as $10,000 in perfect condition. After looking at some condition issues with this particular comic, Walt says he doesn’t think it will go for more than $700. Walt wants the comic, but he is unable to agree on a purchase price with the seller. Another seller brings in a copy
There are spoilers ahead for tonight’s episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead. When T-Dog spent most of the life of AMC’s The Walking Dead not saying a word, a number of fans joked that they could tell he was going to die when he finally had a few lines of dialogue in an episode. When Oscar joined Rick’s band of survivors literally within minute of T-Dog being written off the series, I couldn’t resist; I joked on Twitter that “apparently
With The Walking Dead airing its mid-season finale, fans will have to wait until February before they get answers to all the questions raised. The “Made To Suffer” episode of The Walking Dead finally showed Rick and his group entering the town of Woodbury to rescue Glenn and Maggie. Of course, not all of Rick’s group made it out, and The Governor suffered some losses of his own. Here are the five biggest questions that will have to linger until
As would be expected in a mid-season finale, the “Made To Suffer” episode of The Walking Dead offered up quite a few shocking moments. Surprisingly, there wasn’t a shocking death like there was twice in the “Killer Within” episode. Sure, there was plenty of death, but it was regulated just to people who had been introduced this season. Of course, the episode did end in a real cliffhanger, leaving the fate of two of the most popular characters in question.
Let’s face it–nobody’s going to be reading this right away this week. Between Talking Dead, which should be on fire after a midseason finale, and STAN FREAKING LEE appearing on Comic Book Men, pretty much anybody who’s interested in The Walking Dead have found a way to get to an AMC-friendly TV set. Nevertheless, I’ll press on. (And yeah, it looks like those spoilers were true.) The episode opens on the scene we saw in the international preview – Tyreese
As Stan Lee visits the Secret Stash on tonight’s midseason finale of Comic Book Men, it will be the last time that the show airs on Sunday night. Never fear though, Comic Book Men isn’t being canceled. It’s simple moving to a new night to anchor a block of unscripted programming on AMC. When Comic Book Men returns in February, the series will start airing on Thursday nights on AMC. The ninth episode of Comic Book Men Season 2 will
With The Walking Dead season 3 midseason finale set to air tonight, we wanted to take a look back through the season to date. While this has been perhaps the most exciting and memorable season of The Walking Dead so far, there were also some moments where characters made decisions that were should we say…questionable. Here are our top five really questionable decisions made by Walking Dead characters. 5. Digging Graves For No Bodies – In the “Say the Word”
Who are the most divisive characters in comics? Following a recent commentary we wrote about the currently-ongoing Batman crossover Death of the Family, a number of our readers weighed in on Facebook to tell us about how they either hate Damian Wayne and hope to see him die during the story, or else that he’s one of the most interesting, nuanced characters in comics. There wasn’t anyone in the middle, and it got us to thinking about some of the
