Seth Rogen Guest-Voices On The Simpsons Premiere

On the 21st season premier of The Simpsons, Seth Rogen will be guest-voicing the character of Lyle McCarthy. In the episode, Comic Book Buy casts Homer Simpson as the lead in “Everyman,” which is a feature film based on a new comic book superhero.

Everyman possesses the amazing ability of being able to take on the powers of every superhero in every comic book he touches. Of course, Homer Simpson doesn’t exactly have the body type for a superhero, so the studio employs a celebrity fitness trainer to help get Homer into shape. The celebrity fitness trainer is Rogen’s character Lyle McCarthy.

Fox Gives Sarah Connor the Boot, Keeps Dollhouse

‘Dollhouse’, the low ratings Joss Whedon vehicle, was given a reprieve for its slow start. The show, which stars Eliza Dushu, has been renewed for fall 2009 schedule.

However, another show that we cover on ComicBook.com wasn’t so lucky. As expected, ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ was canceled. It’s a shame, as the show was actually pretty good. However, it was cursed with a Friday night slot, and it never really got legs.

24 Season 7 Finale

Fringe Renewed For A Second Season

Fringe really has become one of the best shows on television, and FOX has rewarded the show with a second season.  According to FOX, Fringe is the number one new series among adults ages eighteen to forty-nine.  Fringe has been winning its Tuesday time period among key demographics (of course, having American Idol as a lead-in probably doesn’t hurt).
