Astro Boy Trailer Debuts at Comic-Con

We’re working hard to get our hands on the trailer (to show all of you), but we have to reiterate what we’ve been saying for months: ‘Astro Boy’ is going to be incredible!

The first trailer was screened today at Comic-Con, and it was followed by a big announcement: Samuel L. Jackson and Charlize Theron will voice characters in the film.

Nick Fury in Iron Man 2? Don’t Expect Much!

The on again, off again and then on again relationship that Samuel L. Jackson has had with Marvel studios was reported not too long ago, with the whole thing being cleared up rather quickly.  While the much-anticipated Iron Man sequel will be released next spring, many are wondering just how much they can expect to see of S.H.I.E.L.D. tough guy Nick Fury, who made a very famous, and telling, cameo at the end of the first movie.  Based upon comments from SLJ himself, don’t look for too much action in this film! Iron Man 2 Production Begins: Rourke Does Not Disappoint

According to Director Jon Favreau’s twitter account, production for the highly anticipated Iron Man 2 movie began on Monday, April 6. That means Robert Downey Jr. is suiting up into the ole Red and Gold, Gwyneth Paltrow is getting into a power suit and setting up appointments as Pepper Potts, and Terrence Howard is at home wondering why Don Cheadle is playing Jim Rhodes instead of him.

Also starring in the cast are Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson. The duo will play Russian villains The Crimson Dynamo and Black Widow. Sam Rockwell will be on hand to play Tony Stark rival, Justin Hammer. According to a twitter post by Jon Favreau about Mickey Rourke’s first day on the set, “Rourke does not disappoint.”

Samuel L. Jackson Agrees To 9 Movie Deal With Marvel

Just last week, it seemed like Samuel L. Jackson was never going to don the black eye patch ever again. Now, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the actor has agreed to a nine movie deal with Marvel Studios in which he will continue to play Col. Nick Fury for quite some time.

Details about the deal, which was signed late last week, are now becoming public. Jackson will reprise his role as the director of the secret ops organization S.H.I.E.L.D. in next year’s Iron Man sequel.
