Who is the Man in the Iron Mask?

That's a question fans have been asking themselves for quite some time -- and tonight, they got their answer.

It was an answer many fans already expected -- and probably the most popular theory especially in the last few weeks, since Henry Allen revealed to his son that Garrick was his mother's maiden name.

Yes, the Man in the Iron Mask was Jay Garrick -- the real Jay Garrick -- an Earth-3 speedster whose identity Hunter Zolomon stole when he imprisoned him and started pretending to be The Flash of Earth-2.

And, yes -- Jay Garrick is the Earth-3 doppelganger of Henry Allen, meaning that Barry got to see his dad again -- kind of.

And fans got to see John Wesley Shipp, star of 1990's The Flash, suit up one more time in a Flash costume.
