Earlier tonight, the fifth episode of Gotham's third season debuted to eager fans on FOX. "Anything For You" saw the city of Gotham threatened by numerous baddies like Penguin and the Red Hood Gang. ComicBook.com had a chance to speak with the show's Chris Chalk after the episode aired, and the actor revealed which DC Comics villain he'd like to see appear on the show.

When Chalk was asked if there were baddies he'd want to see on Gotham, the actor said, "Yes, absolutely. I think Deadshot would be the most interesting one."

The actor went on to clarify his thoughts and said fans might like to see a young Dedshot interact with Bruce Wayne in school. Chalk wondered what might happen if the two crossed paths on the show. "They both have similar socioeconomic situations, and they just went two different directions," Chalk said. "I think it could be really interesting."

Of course, Chalk would perhaps come in contact with a younger Deadshot if the character were cast. After all, the actor plays Lucius Fox on Gotham. The character is best-known for being one of Bruce Wayne's confidantes in the comics. The manager also unknowingly supports Batman as much of Lucius' equipment and finances are taken care of by the elder.

The character is in a different place when it comes to Gotham. The younger iteration of Lucius works as a science expert for the Gotham City Police Department, so his job could put him in Deadshot's sights if Floyd Lawton did join the show.

Deadshot wouldn't be the first classic DC Comics baddie to appear on Gotham. The series has cast villains like Penguin, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Riddler, and more in its three seasons. Gotham also hinted The Joker may join the series after fans heard the Clown Prince of Crime's laughter last season.

And, if the character were to join the superhero series, Gotham wouldn't be the first to host Deadshot. He appeared on Arrow a few years back and debuted in an episode titled "Lone Gunman." Most recently, fans saw Deadshot brought to the screen in Suicide Squad by Will Smith.
