The story trailer for the upcoming video game Injustice 2 lit the internet on fire earlier this week. With a gripping narrative that saw Brainiac analyzing the duality of heroes in that version of the DC Universe, killer fight scenes between Batman and Robin and Supergirl and Wonder Woman, and new characters confirmed to the roster, there was a lot to love about the trailer.

Also, a lot to parody - and parody is the name of Darth Blender's game on youtube, as the creative editor took the Injustice 2 trailer and recreated it to the best of his ability using live-action footage. He went as classic as possible, pulling from the 70s and 80s with footage of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Christopher Reeves as Superman, Helen Slater as Supergirl, and Michael Keaton as Batman. While some of the footage doesn't work all that well, there are parts that are absolutely perfect, including a lot of the Supergirl scenes and a couple of the Superman parallels.
While we'll probably never get an Injustice live-action movie, it's fun to daydream about. If it were to be done today, the cast and general feel of the current DC Films universe would probably lend itself quite well to the story, with a Superman that gets so pissed off he decides to start killing villains and take over the world.
