Legends of Tomorrow returned from its mid-season hiatus earlier this week and amongst all of the George Lucas-themed Easter eggs, we saw one of the Legends ask for a little help from a friend with a slight problem he was going through.

If you recall prior to the annual mid-season break, we saw Mick Rory communicating with his partner in crime, Leonard Snart. For fans of the show, this was quite the revelation as Snart sacrificed himself to save the rest of the Legends in last year's season finale.

This week, however, the reluctant Mick, as portrayed by actor Dominic Purcell, approached Dr. Martin Stein about helping out with his visions. Throughout the episode, we find out that the Timemasters implanted an electronic device in Mick's head as the time-manipulating group used the latter as their bounty hunter Chronos. Turns out, as Dr. Stein revealed, that the visions were all in Mick's head along.

It's been previously revealed by actor Wentworth Miller, who plays Snart in the DC CW universe, that the character will be physically returning to the show to join the Legion of Doom at some point throughout the later part of this season. Unfortunately enough for the Legends, it'll be a Snart from a time previous when he was still a villain in this respective universe.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Purcell had a bit of foreshadowing for the upcoming part of the season.

"I don't think Mick is a good guy," Purcell told EW. "And there's a lot of history there. Mick loves Cold."

It's no secret that Mick Rory, often times referred to his alter ego Heat Wave, and Captain Cold, share quite a strong bond. And it's hard to see a version of the story where the two are on opposite sides fighting each other, at least for an extended period of time.

With Snart coming back to the show, do you think Rory will remain on as a member of the Legends of Tomorrow or do you think he'll break bad once more to join the Legion of Doom alongside his long-time partner in crime? Let us know in the comments below.
