Supergirl: Alex Gets Kidnapped In the Synopsis For an Episode Named After Her

The CW has released the official synopsis for "Alex," an episode of Supergirl coming in May, in which Alex Danvers is kidnapped and used as leverage against Supergirl.

Could it be that Rhea (Teri Hatcher) is behind the abduction? Or is it that there are humans who will be able to use Supergirl's personal life against her following the events of the next new episode, which appears to have her identity at least partially revealed?

Alex (Chyler Leigh) is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie (Floriana Lima) have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena (Katie McGrath). Rob Greenlea directed the episode written by Eric Carrasco & Greg Baldwin (#219).
