Gal Gadot's portrayal of Wonder Woman seems poised to capture audiences hearts around the world when the movie premieres lin a few weeks time. The character has also experienced a renaissance in the comics, and this poster redesign captures the best of both worlds.
FANMADE: I turned the Wonder Woman poster into a rebirth cover with a more comic book feel to it.
The cover takes one of the more recent Wonder Woman posters and visualizes it as a DC Rebirth style comic cover. Wonder Woman can be seen lifting a tank in the original, and the new version features the Rebirth title design and arc title (Godwatch) and also features the comic style logo. In the lower right corner Patty Jenkins, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder are all reference as well. You can view it in the image above.
The comic series has thrived under the stewardship of Greg Rucka, Liam Sharpe, and Nicola Scott, telling a story set in two different time periods of Diana's life. Both have been positively received, and it's brought some wonderful depth to her supporting cast. Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are in stores now. As for the movie, Wonder Woman currently has a 4.07 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, and you can find the official synopsis below. There are also more official movie images in the gallery.
